WELCOME

     Charleston's Association of Government Accountants (AGA) chapter serves federal, state and local employees working in the areas of accounting, auditing, budget, finance, economics, internal controls and public administration in Charleston and the surrounding area.

     We also encourage membership from Private sector employees working in government environments or who have governmental clients. Students interested in pursuing a career in government financial management are encouraged to attend chapter events and consider a student membership. 

     AGA's mission is to serve government accountability professionals by providing quality education, fostering professional development and certification, and supporting standards and research to advance government accountability.
